A safe and mindful yoga practice designed just for you at this special time of your life. This 4-week program features a modified Moksha practice with benefits such as openness and strength, breath awareness, connection, community, stress relief, reduction of water retention/lower back pain/sciatica. Treat yourself. Cultivate the art of stillness. Join us for a truly transformative practice, made more wonderful with the live vocals, guitar, and blues harp of Tony Morgan. We will provide loads of props and supportive cushioning, but do feel free to bring your own bolster, blanket, eye pillow, etc. Whatever makes you super-comfy on your mat! Our Traditional 90-minute Moksha series consists of 40 poses practiced in the heated room with a pleasing pace. Some postures will be practiced twice. Designed to promote openness through your hips and strength through the upper body while detoxifying your entire body. What the heck is Kombucha and how the heck do I make it? Kombucha is a probiotic beverage that’s been around for more than 2,000 years and has a rich anecdotal history of health benefits like digestive health, joint care, preventing and fighting cancer, arthritis, and other degenerative diseases. It’s made from sweetened tea that’s been fermented by a symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast (a SCOBY, a.k.a. “mother” because of its ability to reproduce). Come on out and enjoy some family time on your yoga mat! Kids 5 to 12 are welcome with parent or guardian. This class is offered at just $5 (adult or child)! Please bring your reusable water bottle (you can fill up at the studio). Practice room will be at a child-friendly temperature.
